New feature – Related Services
Most service providers offer services that can be combined or grouped. The key to success lies in the effective management of services and knowledge that are related or assigned to another.
Hence our new feature: Related services for both the administrator and the customer assign and manage related services.
Until now, in the Extranet Area a client did not have the possibility of assigning a new service on request, previously acquired, for example, when a client ordered a web design, he could not choose what to assign the service to. If the customer ordered the service with by-products, the by-products were not listed in the details of the service in the Back-office. The administrator had to go through a related request to see if there were by-products or related services. If a client ordered the service with domains, the administrator could not see it in the details of the service. P>
As of now, all subservices ordered with a given service are assigned to this service and listed in the service details. P>
Benefits for the client
When placing a new order, the client has the option to choose previously bought service to link with the newly ordered one.>p>
When browsing service details the client can choose the option "Related services" to list all services related.
The client functions are optional and it's all up to the admin which to enable in client area.
Sample use cases
The are managed services, that require assigning the account/domain:
Install SSL certificate
Design a website
Install software on server
When ordering such managed service, the client can choose on which account/domain the service should be deployed.
Benefits for the admin
The admin can easily see if a given service is related to other services or domains purchased by the client
The admin can at any time add/delete service/domain related to the service that they manage
